Douglas Oppman serves as president of Meridian Construction Advisory, bringing more than four decades of construction industry experience to the firm. His background spans civil engineering, construction project management and on-site superintendent, complex contract administration, and the leadership of high-stakes construction claims.

A licensed Professional Engineer in Indiana with a Juris Doctorate and DBIA certification, Mr. Oppman brings a rare fluency in the technical, contractual, and legal dimensions of construction. It allows him to translate complex engineering and project issues into terms that hold up in a boardroom, a hearing, or a courtroom.

Over the course of his career, he has represented owners, contractors, and architect/engineers on projects across the country. That range of perspective — having sat on every side of the table — gives him the balanced judgment clients look for in a trusted advisor.
