Douglas Oppman serves as president of Meridian Construction Advisory, bringing more than four decades of construction industry experience to the firm. His background spans civil engineering, construction project management, contract and dispute resolution, and construction claims leadership.

A licensed Professional Engineer in Indiana with a Juris Doctorate, and DBIA certification, Mr. Oppman brings a rare fluency in the technical, contractual, and legal dimensions of construction. It allows him to translate complex engineering and project issues into terms that hold up in a boardroom, a dispute board proceeding, or a courtroom.

Throughout his career, he has represented owners, contractors, architects, and engineers on claims and projects across the country. That range of perspective — having sat on every side of the table — gives him the balanced judgment clients look for in a trusted advisor.
